Category-1: If temperature differences of 1°C to 10°C are noted based on comparisons between the component and ambient air temperatures.

Category-2:  If temperature differences of 11°C to 20°C are noted based on comparisons between the component and ambient air temperatures.

Category-3: If temperature differences of 21°C to 40°C are noted based on comparisons between the component and ambient air temperatures.

Category-4: If temperature differences greater than 40°C noted based on comparisons between the component and ambient air temperatures.
